The desert of endless horizon

“Look Tenzin, in this huge desert with this endless horizon, what are we supposed to do?”

“Well, I don’t know what you are supposed to do, but I know what I am supposed to do…”

“You do? So… you mean all this was planned?”

“Sort of. Half of it. A quarter. Maybe a bit….”

“I deserve an explanation I think!”

“Look, I only know I’m supposed to follow you everywhere you decide to go, but I can’t tell you where, I can only follow, I must follow you and support you whenever you need it, and give you advice, but only if you ask me for it, ” explained the otter.

“Ok, I get it. For example…where are we supposed to go now? Would you answer that?”

“I can’t tell you where, but I can suggest you to use the compass…” said the otter.

“The compass! My things! Shobogenzo! Oh noooo! Besides… I hope you’re going to explain to me why I am talking with you.”
