Entry 1

Waning Moon.

I have long been a journal keeper albeit spasmodic at times, it’s the best way by far of keeping track of  thoughts, ideas, feelings etc. and for this journey, hopefully, discoveries.

I met with the Guild Mistress this morning after a wonderful night of dream-filled sleep … mmm my favourite kind.  We breakfasted together, a veritable feast of plump fruits and tasty breads all washed down with honey tea.  I have a few days here before setting forth on the New Moon which is in four days time.  A pleasant surprise as I originally thought I was going to be bustled out of here today …. gives me time for a good nose around, see what’s what.  I have seen the Journey Hall with all the trunks and dolls – a little bizarre if you ask me.   I know it’s so we keep connected but, well, I felt uncomfortable in there, mawkish is the word that comes to mind.  You know what it is?  I just realised, they look like effigies …. *shudder* … I shall be keeping an eye out for bonfires that’s for sure!

Anyhow, I had better set to and make an ‘image’ of myself otherwise I could be lost forever.  Seeing as I  have the time I’m off to wander the grounds – find some bark and stuff to boil up for dyeing – one image for the making of!   Brrrrr … still not altogether happy with the idea.
